Job Description
The welding trainer teaches welding techniques, safety procedures, and principles through classroom instruction and hands-on practice, ensuring trainees meet industry and company standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in multiple welding processes (GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, SAW)
- Strong understanding of welding codes, standards, and procedures
- Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Experience preparing welders for CODE qualification tests
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Welding Educator (CWE)
- Experience with curriculum development
