Job Description
Responsible for preoperative assessment of patient status and ordering of preoperative medication under supervision with administration of drugs to produce sedation or anesthesia, insert arterial, venous catheters, and monitors the patient during anesthesia until the patient regains consciousness.
Requirements
- 0 to 3 months of experience preferred, with previous cardiac anesthesia experience
- Current NJ-RN license and AANA Council eligible/certified
- Minimum requirement of current ACLS
- APN certification, or pending application as required
