DevSecOps Engineer (Senior)

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Booking System (IBS) program. The role is responsible for leading secure, automated software delivery through CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and security integration.

Requirements

• Design and lead implementation of GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Establish reusable pipeline standards across teams
• Optimize build performance, reliability, and scalability
• Lead Kubernetes architecture and deployment strategies using Helm
• Ensure stable and scalable environments across all system stages
• Troubleshoot complex system and cluster-level issues
• Lead integration of Fortify, SonarQube, and security tooling into pipelines
• Establish secure development and deployment practices
• Ensure compliance with DoD security requirements (STIGs, RMF)
• Partner with Angular and Java teams to improve workflows and delivery pipelines
• Provide mentorship and guidance to mid-level engineers
• Drive adoption of DevSecOps best practices across teams
• Define and maintain DevSecOps standards, runbooks, and system documentation
• Promote well-documented, maintainable systems
• Lead evaluation of tools and practices with a focus on simplicity and scalability
• Drive improvements in developer experience and system performance
