Job Description
Amber Labs Consultancy is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to support a major public sector client on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Requirements
- Strong experience in automation testing, with hands-on use of modern frameworks and tools.
- Experience designing, implementing, and executing automated tests across APIs, UI, and integration layers.
- A solid understanding of shift-left testing principles, including CI/CD pipelines and embedding quality early in the development lifecycle.
- Awareness of non-functional testing, including performance, security, accessibility, and ability to contribute to shared engineering standards.
- Strong communication skills, with experience collaborating in agile, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience with version control, code reviews, and collaborative engineering practices.
