Advisor, Underwriting and Billing

The Advisor, Underwriting and Billing role assists Brokers and Customers with complex inquiries and accommodation requests, reviews and approves underwriting and billing exceptions, and handles referrals from other employees.

Requirements

• 1 year completed as an Insurance Representative (required)
• Bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
• 2+ years of Personal Insurance (auto and property) / underwriting experience (required)
• University Degree /College diploma or equivalent experience
• CIP / working towards designation preferred
• Knowledge of Economical's PI offerings and Guidewire an asset
• Knowledge of Economical’s CI, claims and billing systems an asset
• Customer service focused with a positive helpful attitude
• Excellent people skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to coach and provide guidance to others
• Ability to solve problems
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High degree of proficiency in English is required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada.
