The Climate Risk Analyst will support Definity's Climate Center of Excellence by monitoring natural catastrophes, modelling climate change impacts, and contributing to climate-related regulatory reporting. The role collaborates with various teams to advance climate and catastrophe-related risk initiatives.
Requirements
- University degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Environmental Science, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in an analytics-focused role
- Experience with scientific programming (Python/R), spatial analytics (GIS), machine learning, databases, cloud analytics, and data visualization tools
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Adaptability and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
