Job Description
As a Claims Adjuster - Auto (AMF) at Definity, you will investigate and settle first-party automobile claims, provide prompt and courteous claims service, and work with customers and vendors to resolve claims. You will also maintain detailed file records, process claims payments, and achieve targeted claim numbers and file disposition rates.
Requirements
- Minimum completion of DEC or Attestation of College Studies (ACS)
- Personal insurance license (5b) mandatory and Commercial insurance license (5a) preferred
- Experience handling automobile with a good understanding of terminology and auto policies
- Previous customer service experience
- Excellent keyboarding skills and ability to navigate through numerous screens and systems
- Bilingualism (English and French) is required
- High degree of proficiency with English is required to service customers
