Job Description
Dekker is seeking a BIM/Revit Technician with experience or interest in structural modeling, to use their skills in a team-oriented environment to collaborate on highly creative designs for a variety of project types.
Requirements
- Develop 3D models using Revit.
- Create 2D sections and details in Revit.
- Create families and components and maintain libraries of Revit content.
- Deliver high quality documents using firm standards and quality assurance processes.
- Contribute to researching and disseminating knowledge of best practices and industry advancements.
- Coordinate with project Engineers, Architects, and other BIM technicians.
- Collaboratively engage in project work with responsibilities as assigned.
- Work under the direction of the project design team to produce drawings and documents.
- Provide Revit support to structural project staff.
- Complete redlines with accuracy.
- Gather and provide BIM data from Revit models including takeoffs when required.
- Identify and communicate out progress, accomplishments, challenges, and support needed to complete responsibilities.
