Operations Manager, Steel Manufacturing

The Operations Manager oversees the operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Lead the manufacturing facility to safely provide the best solutions and service to the Supply Chain and the customers.

Requirements

• Demonstrated strong leadership skills
• Able to foster a team environment as well as working independently as needed
• Proven work experience as a plant manager as well as managerial experience
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
• Computer literacy
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow through
• Able to effectively manage multiple tasks at one time while meeting deadlines
• Adherence to the attendance policy
