Senior Software Principal Engineer

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in advanced software engineering or related technical roles
• Strong programming expertise in C/C++ and Python
• Foundational knowledge of networking (debugging, virtual, and physical interfaces)
• Solid understanding of multi-threading and IPC mechanisms
• Deep experience with storage systems, especially in resiliency, high availability, reliability, and network block storage protocols (iSCSI/FC)
• Proficiency with Linux user-space tooling (gdb, journals, rootfs structure, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams and time zones
• Leadership qualities with proven ability to influence, mentor, and drive resolution under pressure
• Knowledge of Replication/Disaster Recovery technologies
