As a Data Science Manager, you will lead the delivery of advanced analytics solutions and advisory services to high-growth organizations, managing a diverse team of data scientists, data architects, software developers, and business/industry leaders. You will be responsible for client communication, solutioning, and delivery, including advanced analytics model design and development, insight generation, and the development of AI and ML models.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in applying analytics or model development using data in a professional context
- Significant experience with statistical techniques, data mining, optimization (linear programming), and predictive models
- Proficiency in hands-on data analysis and modeling using Python
- Experience with databases and programming languages (SQL, Oracle, Hadoop, NoSQL) for data manipulation and integration
- Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is an asset
- Advanced degrees (MSc, equivalent, or higher) in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Physics, Computer Science, or a related field is required
