Deloitte Global is seeking a Manager to join the Global Independence team within Global Risk & Brand Protection, advising on independence matters, supporting key compliance initiatives, and contributing to projects with network-wide impact.
Requirements
- Support Development of Independence Policies, Processes and Tools That Enable and Protect the Business
- Drive the global policy update process through project management, drafting amendments and socializing changes.
- Update and maintain independence-related tools and documentation templates used on PCAOB and ISA audit engagements to promote regulatory compliance, consistency, and usability.
- Support updates to Deloitte audit platforms (Omnia and Levvia) to help ensure independence requirements are current and embedded in day-to-day workflows.
- Help Firms Navigate Complex Independence Matters
- Support firms’ independence teams and other stakeholders with independence consultations, including analysis of fact patterns and reaching workable conclusions, promoting consistent interpretation and application of independence policies.
- Maintain and manage records of independence breaches reported to Global Independence, including identifying practices and solutions to drive improvement.
- Manage the independence policy waiver process, including documentation, tracking, coordination, and follow-up actions.
- Drive the resolution of complex cross-border issues by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and helping drive clear, practical outcomes.
