Senior Consultant, Insurance Solutions

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant, Insurance Solutions to collaborate with senior leaders, manage junior practitioners, and contribute to the firm's growth and development. The role involves scoping and planning engagements, developing deliverable structure and content, and ensuring exceptional outcomes are achieved.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant consulting or industry experience
• Experience delivering at least one full life cycle implementation, ideally involving complex, multi-phase system deployments
• Large scale system delivery experience, preferably for any core insurance platforms (i.e. Admin, claims, billing) with front end integrations
• Experience estimating and planning large scale system implementations
• Experience with any core insurance platform is preferred (i.e. Guidewire, Duck Creek, Instanda, OIPA, Sapiens, Fineos, etc) and front-end applications preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in managing a Business Integration effort and project team through multiple phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing
• Experience in custom software development projects
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: requirements gathering (functional and/or technical), Quality Assurance / testing of functionality, team lead or scrum master role, development and solution architecture
• Knowledge of the Canadian insurance landscape across property and casualty insurance, workers' compensation, and life and health (preferred, but not mandatory)
• Strong desire to learn in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the end-to-end delivery of implementation programs
• Demonstrated experience in client facing roles and stakeholder management
