The Senior Consultant – Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a hands-on delivery role responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud as part of Oracle Cloud transformation programs.
Requirements
- Design and develop integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Build app-driven, scheduled, and event-based integrations using OIC patterns
- Configure and use OIC adapters (ERP Cloud, REST, SOAP, FTP, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Develop and test integrations, lookups, packages, and reusable components
- Support deployment, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization
- Analyze integration requirements and map them to OIC capabilities
- Design message flows using REST/SOAP, XML/JSON, and file-based integrations
- Implement error handling, fault policies, reprocessing, and monitoring
- Support security configuration including certificates, OAuth, and basic authentication
- Assist in Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud coexistence and migration scenarios
- Participate in technical workshops, design discussions, and walkthroughs
- Work closely with functional consultants (Finance, SCM, HCM) to understand integration needs
- Provide clear technical explanations to client IT and integration teams
- Support preparation of status updates and technical documentation
- Review and support development activities of junior team members
- Contribute to reusable integration assets, templates, and accelerators
- Share best practices and learnings within the OIC practice
- Stay current with Oracle OIC releases, features, and best practices
- Actively pursue Oracle Integration Cloud certifications
- Develop expertise in related Oracle technologies (OCI, VBCS, BIP, REST services)
- Participate in internal capability-building initiatives
