Deloitte is seeking a Pay Specialist to support payroll operations for all Canadian employees. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring rapid and accurate delivery of payroll services and related client services. The role requires excellent communication skills, Canadian Payroll Association (SCP or GAP) certification, and at least five years of experience in a multijurisdictional payroll environment.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Canadian Payroll Association (SCP or GAP) certification or in the process of obtaining it
• At least five years of experience in a wide-ranging multijurisdictional payroll environment, including complex payroll scenarios and escalations to senior levels
• Proven strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft, or HRIS, or similar payroll systems
• Recognized analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to compliance and process improvement
• Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position
