Senior Data Engineer

Deloitte is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their dynamic Technology & Transformation team in Athens. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the delivery of client engagements, design data-based solutions, and communicate market trends to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other related field
• Master’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in leading medium to large-scale teams
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse, Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Governance and Business Intelligence principles and techniques
• Experience in On-Premise technologies stacks such as IBM AS400 (DB2), MS SQL Server and Oracle
• Experience in Cloud technology data services such as Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, AWS Glue and GCP BigQuery
• Experience in Data Visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik and Tableau
• Experience in Orchestration solutions such as Control-M and Apache Airflow
• Experience in Data Science and AI / ML techniques and tools will be considered a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills in Greek and in English
• Military obligations fulfilled where applicable
