Job Description
The Electrician Apprentice supports the Journeyman in the installation, maintenance, operation and repair of electrical systems by handling tools, testing malfunctioning equipment and identifying defects.
Requirements
- Reads blueprints, drawings and wiring diagrams
- Pull and terminate power and instrumentation cables
- Assists on installs and repair of equipment, wiring or control devices
- Assist with preventative maintenance on motors, pumps, generators, etc.
- Maintains, identifies and clearly marks all electrical panels as to functions of controls
- Ensures all work is conducted in accordance with NEC and NFPA requirement as well as local, city, state, and national electrical codes, and all Company and Client standards
