Job Description
The Single Hand Pipe Welder is responsible for operating welding machines to join or connect various types of pipe and fittings in an oil and gas industry setting.
Requirements
- Reads blueprints, drawings and welding diagrams
- Operates hand and power tools common to welding such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc
- Maintains machines and inspects equipment to identify possible problems
- Ability to Pass ASME B31.3 - SMAW 2’ SCH 80 6G Pipe Test
- Current and valid driver's license, with clean driving record
- Post Job Offer Requirements: Take and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check, Take and pass a Fit-for-Duty Examination
