Job Description
The Financial Analyst – Underwriting at Delta Dental of Idaho is responsible for executing a wide range of tasks related to underwriting, including rate analysis, regulatory form filings, and contract support management. In addition, this position will coordinate with third party actuaries and internal resources to ensure accuracy and timeliness in all underwriting activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, math/statistics or equivalent experience required.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in financial analysis, insurance underwriting, or a related industry.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment.
- Experience with regulatory filings, rate analysis, and contract management.
- Ability to prioritize, work with deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
