Job Description
Dematic is seeking Controls Design Engineers to join its EMEA Engineering team on a permanent basis. The role involves software design/commissioning activities and leading controls engineering teams.
Requirements
- HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechatronics/Controls Engineering
- Experience in a similar role
- Extensive proven hands-on experience working within an industrial automation environment
- Advanced understanding of PLC development tools
- Good understanding of Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings
- Understanding of design requirements such as Machine Directive and its standards including safety standards
- Good understanding of distributed control systems
- Extensive understanding of software testing and emulation
- Previous use of CAD tools
- Understanding of automated warehouse desirable not essential
