Controls Hardware Engineer

We’re hiring a Controls Hardware Engineer to design and deliver compliant, high-quality electrical systems for our automated solutions. You’ll select and apply control devices, document their operational functionality, and create detailed drawing packages for electrical installation and assembly manufacturing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Controls Hardware Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer or similar role.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive proven hands-on experience working within an industrial automation environment.
• Experience working with E-Plan, AutoCAD, MS Package.
• Good understanding of distributed control systems and the principles of industrial networks used to connect and integrate control systems.
• Understanding and use of relevant design requirements such as the Machinery Directive and its harmonised standards, with experience in FEM and BS standards preferred.
