Shift Maintenance Technician

Dematic is a global engineering company that designs, builds, and life cycle supports logistics solutions. The company is looking for a Shift Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and support equipment on a customer's site, ensuring delivery to both Dematic and the customer's expectations with the aim of achieving KPI targets at all times.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3/ONC in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• IOSH working safely (desirable)
• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
• A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic technical manuals & drawings
• Basic understanding of control systems and problem solving techniques
• Basic understanding of PLC equipment
• Working at height experience and willingness
• Previous experience of working with various conveyor systems
• Good level of PC literacy
• Understanding of pre-preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules
• Working knowledge of FEM and BS standards governing the automated warehouse industry
