As a Geotechnical Engineer at DEME Offshore, you'll work with our geotechnical team to make complex offshore installation work safe, efficient, and certifiable. You'll own the geotechnical scope from bid to installation, assess jack-up operations, and derisk foundation installation.
Requirements
- Master's in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
- 2+ years of relevant experience as a geotechnical engineer (offshore experience is a plus)
- Working knowledge of geotechnical analysis and relevant software (e.g., PLAXIS, GRLWEAP, LPILE or equivalents)
- Programming skills (preferably Python) and an interest in data-driven workflows are assets
- Clear, concise communicator in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Organized, curious, collaborative; able to perform under time pressure while keeping a high quality bar
- Willingness to travel regularly for meetings and offshore support trips
