Associate, Employment

Dentons’ Global Employment and Labour Group is seeking an Associate with 3-5PQE experience to join their growing practice in Milton Keynes, Glasgow, or Edinburgh. The role involves working on a broad mix of employment law cases, advising clients on employment and benefits-related issues, and contributing to business development and thought leadership. The team works closely with clients from various sectors, including retail, transport, and hospitality.

Requirements

• Most, if not all, aspects of pure employment work e.g. employment tribunal claims, advising on grievances, disciplinaries and employment relations matters.
• Advising on TUPE, outsourcing agreements, restructuring and redundancies.
• Employment support work e.g. drafting the employment section of due diligence reports, negotiating warranties and indemnities.
• Legal research on key employment issues.
• Drafting and reviewing staff handbooks, contracts, policies and procedures.
• Client seminars and training.
• Business Development.
