Certified Nurse Midwife

We are recruiting for a motivated Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team. Provides care to pregnant and birthing individuals throughout the childbearing cycle, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care. Provides primary health care services from adolescence through menopause, including gynecologic and family planning services.

Requirements

• Evaluates and monitors health condition of patient in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Assesses the health status of patients by performance of medical record review, thorough health history, and physical examination
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests and provides patient care accordingly
• Admits and discharges patients to and from hospital inpatient care
• Performs gynecologic and obstetrical procedures within scope of expertise
• Prescribes medications including controlled substances and contraceptives
• Completes required clinical documentation in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner
• Supports patient autonomy in decision making through education about health condition and treatment options
• Teaches and supervises midwifery, nurse-practitioner, and medical students, and residents in the clinical setting
