Job Description
We are recruiting for a mission-driven Registered Nurse (Outpatient) to join our team at Denver Health. The ideal candidate will provide patient care and education in an outpatient setting, working with diverse patients, families, and community members throughout the lifespan. The RN will adhere to the American Nurses Association (ANA) standards of professional nursing and performance, and the ANA Code of Ethics to provide care to all healthcare consumers.
Requirements
- Implement evidence-based plan with patient in coordination with healthcare team
- Develop, modify patient care and treatment plans as indicated by patient's responses and conditions
- Provide safe, appropriate nursing care and patient education in an ambulatory clinic setting
- Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient situation
- Partners with patient and interprofessional healthcare team to review assessment and plan measurable goals and outcomes
- Support interdisciplinary healthcare team through supervision, education, and training of other clinic team members
