The Principal Policy Analyst will provide strategic leadership and advanced policy expertise to shape the future of local governance in New Zealand, leading complex and sensitive workstreams, mentoring and supporting other policy staff, and delivering robust advice that informs Ministerial and Cabinet decision-making. The role requires advanced policy leadership, system and legislative design expertise, interagency and stakeholder leadership, strategic and evaluative thinking, delivery in fast-paced environments, and people leadership and mentoring. The appointing range for this role is $129,510 - $161,167. This is a fixed-term role through to 30 June 2027.
