Senior Firmware Engineer

Dephy is looking for a candidate who was born to be an engineer: someone who has an urge to understand how things work, and who gets excited when there is no known solution to the problem at hand. We are curious, creative, and passionate engineers looking for a team member to help us tackle challenges at the forefront of wearable robotics.

Requirements

• Be a good human - get along with the team, build strong working relationships, and execute on Dephy’s Values.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining embedded firmware dedicated to battery designs.
• Proven knowledge of C/C++ programming for embedded systems, Python, microcontrollers (STM32, TI), and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Demonstrated experience in interfacing with hardware modules and hardware debugging.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a cross-functional team to implement, develop, and execute rigorous testing plans to validate firmware functionality and reliability.
• Demonstrated expertise in ensuring firmware meets safety standards and regulatory requirements, incorporating fault detection, diagnostic routines, and fail-safe mechanisms to protect battery integrity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to firmware, working closely with cross-functional teams to address and resolve problems.
• Professional history with creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of firmware design, development processes, and testing procedures.
• Experience with Git, Linux, and Windows.
