Senior Python Developer (Django)

Senior Python Developer (Django) wanted for a Growth Invention company to work on impactful projects and help clients achieve their goals at scale. Job requires a minimum of 4 years of Python backend web development experience, strong experience with Django, and proven experience designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable APIs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of Python backend web development experience
• Strong experience with Django
• Experience with Wagtail CMS (or similar CMS platforms)
• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable APIs
• Experience with complex system integrations across multiple external vendors
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows
• Solid understanding of database design, optimisation, and administration
• Strong experience with testing and quality assurance (unit, integration, etc.)
• Ability to own projects end-to-end, from planning through to delivery and support
• Experience identifying issues early and proactively suggesting improvements to internal processes and workflows
• Confidence to challenge assumptions, contribute to technical discussions, and collaborate with external teams and vendors
• Experience mentoring junior and mid-level developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and technical leadership across projects
• A team-player mindset with strong initiative and leadership qualities
• Working proficiency in English
