Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant position at Dermatology Solutions Group, LLC (DSG) is a day-to-day role supporting Medical Providers in delivering healthcare and patient care. The role focuses on providing excellent patient experiences, ensuring accurate documentation, preparing for appointments, and assisting with various administrative tasks. The position reports directly to the Office Administrator and supervised by Physicians, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and DSG Management.

Requirements

• Knowledge of medical practice operations and patient care standards.
• Knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments.
• Ability to assist in a variety of common office procedures.
• Ability to take vital signs, if applicable.
• Ability to develop and maintain clinical quality assurance.
• Ability to identify and proactively solve issues.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to use good reasoning and judgment.

• Knowledge of basic arithmetic and medical terminology.

• Proficiency in the operation of a computer keyboard.
