Job Description
Descartes is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and automated. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with DevOps, Engineering, and Security teams. As a growing logistics and supply chain technology company, Descartes provides solutions to help clients manage their supply chains and information effectively.
Requirements
- 3+ years in SysOps, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Strong experience in Windows environments
- Deep understanding of AWS (Azure/GCP a plus)
- Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Skilled with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
