Technical Team Lead, JavaScript (Node.js, React)

Descartes is seeking a Technical Team Lead to help deliver impactful solutions for customers. The role involves designing, implementing, and shipping features that improve the SaaS platform for ecommerce sellers. The team uses a strong test-driven development approach and deploys code to production several times per day.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong understanding of software fundamentals
• Experience shipping code to production in a SaaS environment
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, distributed team
• Comfortable learning new technologies as needed
• Led a team of engineers to successfully ship a project to customers
