The Desjardins Caisses in Gracefield is seeking a financial counselor to assist members and clients with their financial projects. The role involves developing and maintaining a long-term relationship with members and clients to ensure their satisfaction.

Requirements

• Diploma of college studies in an appropriate field
• A minimum of two years of experience as a financial counselor
• Holding a representative certificate in collective savings
• Advanced knowledge of French
• Knowledge of financial, economic, political, and legislative news
• Knowledge of all products and services offered to members of the caisse and those offered by Desjardins Entreprises centers, components, and distribution networks, as well as those of the competition
• Knowledge of integrating financial data into systems
• Knowledge of debt management
• Knowledge and notions of compliance with laws on the distribution of financial products and services
• Knowledge of the philosophy and functioning of a financial services cooperative
• Knowledge of policies, laws, and standards related to products and services offered by the caisse
• Knowledge of operational procedures related to financing and investment activities
• Knowledge of the Desjardins business process and service standards
• Knowledge of techniques for evaluating and tracking loan requests from individuals
