We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our gas turbine development team, focusing on the design and optimization of advanced gas turbine engines. The successful candidate will play a key role in critical components such as mixed-flow compressor stages, high-speed rotor shafts, and advanced bearing systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the design and development of gas turbines or high-performance rotating machinery.
- Strong understanding of material properties and behavior in high-temperature, high-stress environments.
- Proficiency in precision tolerancing, fits, and mechanical design principles for rotating assemblies.
- Experience performing stress analyses and interpreting results to inform design improvements.
- Knowledge of rotordynamics and high-speed bearing systems for turbomachinery is a plus.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX), use of FEA tools is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and assembly techniques for gas turbines.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in gas turbine design and validation.
