At Destinus, our engineers develop cutting-edge UAV systems while our production teams bring these technologies to life. We are looking for a Test Development Engineer to join our team, helping design, develop, and enhance our test facilities and test rigs to accelerate the validation of electronic and mechanical systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of robotics concepts, kinematics, and automation.
- Hands-on experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360) and 3D printing for rapid prototyping.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and test scripting; knowledge of additional languages (C/C++, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic systems, including PCB testing, power supplies, sensors, and actuators.
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, DAQ systems, signal generators, power supplies).
- Understanding of automation and control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on, experimental mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, bridging software, hardware, and mechanical development.
