Job Description
We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong core Tier 1 automotive quality experience, strong supplier quality experience and core tools experience, and strong problem-solving experience.
Requirements
- A Bachelors' degree in an engineering discipline
- Advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of extensive core Tier 1 automotive quality experience
- Strong Ford experience required
- Strong supplier quality experience and core tools experience (APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan)
- Strong problem-solving experience: (Shainin and/or 6-Sigma level preferred, but not required)
- Strong 8D experience required
- Lean manufacturing systems experience
- Strong project management experience (manage concerns, micro-projects, etc)
- Large facility, high volume/mix, multi-product line experience
- Experience in launching programs
- Strong statistical analysis and development
- IATF experience
- CQE (trained) preferred
- CMQ/OE, preferred
- Certified Lead Auditor or Auditor experience is preferred
