DWS - Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d)

DWS is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to manage and support enterprise-scale databases, data warehouses, and data marts. The role requires strong expertise in regulatory reporting, production stability, and large-scale data platforms. Key responsibilities include managing data operations, designing scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines, building data warehouses, and implementing data quality and governance controls.

Requirements

• 15+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in data engineering
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Informatica, cloud data warehouses, or distributed query engines
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, data modeling, schema design, and integration across multiple data sources
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and observability, with exposure to enterprise data management standards
• Cloud ecosystem familiarity, along with experience or exposure to automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional and agile teams
