Engineer Backend, (f/m/x)

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Responsibilities include implementing scalable backend solutions, developing and testing Java-based software components, and maintaining high standards of software quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development, with a strong focus on Java-based systems
• Deep expertise in Java 17+ and the Spring ecosystem
• Good understanding of design patterns, awareness/understanding of SOLID principles
• Knowledge of Data structures/Collections
• Proven experience designing and building scalable backend solutions and RESTful APIs
• Strong experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle, including advanced SQL, schema design, and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other major cloud providers
• Knowledge and experience with Agile values, principles, and methods
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong team player mindset
