Lead DevOps Engineer (f/m/x) –Client Facing Channels

Deutsche Bank Technology in Berlin is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to lead the continuous delivery roadmap for one of the leading programs in the Corporate Bank. The ideal candidate will have extensive engineering experience with DevOps tooling, orchestration, and automation, and a solid understanding of runtime virtual machines for compiled languages. The role involves developing orchestration and support tools, applying best practices in software engineering, and driving DevOps initiatives.

Requirements

• Extensive engineering and programming experience with DevOps tooling, orchestration, and automation
• Solid understanding of runtime virtual machines for compiled languages
• Skilled in setting up and using CI/CD and version-control tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, and Jenkins
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP or AWS) and their core services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage), Kubernetes, and deployment patterns (e.g. blue-green, canary)
• Proven experience maintaining databases, distributed client-server systems, and computing/storage clusters
• Strong Linux expertise, with additional plus skills in the Java ecosystem (Spring Boot, Maven), JVM languages, Oracle, Postgres, Kafka, data stacks, message brokers, and OpenShift
