Job Description
The Staff Accountant supports the Accounting Manager in the execution of day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
Requirements
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely, including vendor invoice review, coding, and payment processing
- Manage accounts receivable functions, including customer invoicing, payment processing, issuing credits, tracking returns, and sending statements and past-due reminders
- Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end close activities
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and support financial statement accuracy
- Assist with generating monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements
- Track and maintain fixed asset records
- Support daily accounting operations and assist with ad hoc requests and special projects as needed
