Senior Engineering Manager

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers to design and build scalable, distributed backend systems and frontend components, taking ownership of clarity and execution. You will blend deep technical judgment with empathy for both engineers and customers, ensuring that our systems are elegant, scalable, and deliver measurable customer impact.

Requirements

• 10–15 years software engineering experience in large-scale distributed systems
• 5+ years leading teams delivering high-performance, reliable, multi-tenant SaaS backends with frontend components
• Expertise in defining clean interfaces, distributed systems, databases, message buses (Kafka preferred), and modern cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless)
• Proficiency in Go (preferred), Java, or Python
• Demonstrated ability to balance technical strategy with execution excellence
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and fostering a culture of ownership and learning
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
