Transportation/Roadway Engineer

Dewberry is seeking a Transportation/Roadway Engineer to work on Transportation Projects for public and private sector clients. The successful candidate will work on all phases of Transportation Projects, including horizontal and vertical rail and road alignments, drainage systems, storm water management, utility relocations and preparation of contract documents.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• California Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
• 5+ years of experience in transportation engineering design
• Strong knowledge in roadway and highway design, grading, drainage, and utility relocation
• Ability to work efficiently to meet project schedules within budgets
• Ability to communicate effectively with project manager, coworkers, sub consultants, and agency review staff, and utilities
