Sr Hardware Engineer

Dexcom Corporation is a global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and is seeking a Sr Hardware Engineer to lead cross-functional teams in structured problem solving and statistical data analysis to solve problems through root cause understanding. The successful candidate will design improvements for equipment and manufacturing processes that will improve product quality, increase productivity, and reduce costs. The team works with a global team that has members from around the world and is committed to improving human health.

Requirements

• Develop machine automation, test methods, validation standards, and manufacturing processes
• Use analytical tools like Structured Problem Solving or DMAIC to drive continuous improvement
• Have deep knowledge of PLC software, HMI software, and machine vision systems
• Have a total system perspective to create high-performance solutions where mechanical, electrical, and software components interact with people
• Be detail-oriented and organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have experience with equipment design, design validation, new equipment introduction, or high-volume manufacturing ramp
