Sr. Staff DevOps Engineer

Dexcom Corporation is a pioneer in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and is seeking a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer to design and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-based systems that enable the organization to leverage the full potential of its cloud platforms. The role involves architecting solutions, leading efforts to provide agentic AI platform services, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and optimizing cloud systems for performance and cost.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in GCP and familiarity with Azure and AWS
• Strong experience in GitOps/DevOps, GitHub, Github Runners, Backstage/Roadie, ArgoCD, and Cloud Deploy
• Hands-on experience designing and operating enterprise AI platforms on GCP
• Strong understanding of agentic AI architectures and tool-calling, orchestration, memory, RAG
• Expertise in K8S, proficiency in VMs, Cloud Run, and Serverless technologies
• Leadership level of experience with IaC with Terraform Cloud and Ansible
• Deep understanding of cloud networking technology including VPCs, LBs, firewalls, etc.
• Familiarity with data tech such as Big Query, Snowflake, MongoDB, and Cloud SQL (MariaDB, MSSQL)
• Ability to provide technical leadership and work direction to junior staff
• Ability to serve as the primary technical point of contact on incidents impacting services the team provides
• Ability to assist the Sr. Mgr in packaging and structuring operational work for execution
• Ability to assist the Sr. Mgr in developing technical processes, operating procedures, and metrics for services and technologies
