Staff Supplier Quality Engineer

The Staff Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the supplier quality management system, leading supplier oversight activities, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive supplier improvements and development activities. The incumbent will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and interface with external suppliers, internal manufacturing, engineering, regulatory, quality, materials, operations personnel, and senior management. The role requires strong technical and analytical skills, including knowledge of Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, statistical sampling plans, and related tools, as well as the ability to read, write, and interpret specifications and inspection criteria.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• Minimum 8-12 years related experience or master's degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2-4 years of experience
• ASQ CQA or equivalent audit training
• Extensive audit experience in the medical device industry
• Strong communication abilities
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to travel
• Capacity to perform additional assigned duties
