Senior Global Health Security Advisor, DOS LEAP Global - Indonesia

Dexis is seeking a Senior Global Health Security Advisor to support the U.S. Embassy Jakarta/Department of State in carrying out life-saving humanitarian assistance service delivery. The Advisor will provide technical support to Indonesian government departments and agencies to prevent, detect, and respond to infectious disease threats. The Advisor will work closely with implementing partners and U.S. Embassy Jakarta/DOS points of contact to support the implementation of the Global Health Security portfolio.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Environmental Health, Health Policy, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in global health security, public health emergency preparedness and response, or related fields
• Demonstrated experience working with government ministries and international partners on multisectoral health security initiatives
• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and evaluating surveillance systems for human, animal, and environmental health
• Experience supporting or leading cross-sectoral initiatives and multisectoral coordination platforms
• Experience in outbreak investigation, emergency response, and management of public health emergencies
• Familiarity with global health security frameworks and digital health tools
• Strong knowledge of infectious disease epidemiology, surveillance, laboratory systems, and infection prevention and control (IPC)
• Fluency in written and spoken English and professional proficiency in written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia
