Community Fundraising & Events Officer

Diabetes Canada seeks a Community Fundraising & Events Officer to develop strategies to cultivate corporate supporters, volunteers, and volunteer committees, and to support fundraising events. The successful candidate will work closely with the Community Fundraising and Events team and the National Corporate Partnerships team to build strong internal and external relationships and ensure high-quality stewardship of event donors and corporate partners.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of proven fundraising experience in a high relationship-based environment
• University or College degree in Fundraising, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience recruiting and supporting volunteer committees
• Non-profit experience in a health-care charity is an asset
