Special Events Organizer (Canada Summer Job)

The Special Events Organizer will support the coordination, execution, and delivery of Peer-to-Peer and Third Party events. The role involves working closely with the Coordinator and the Events team to achieve revenue and attendance goals for various events.

Requirements

• Assist in coordinating and executing P2P events, aligning with regional and national plans.
• Support the promotion of events to drive attendance, including networking and outreach.
• Identify and maximize revenue generation opportunities at events (e.g., sponsorships, auctions, sweepstakes).
• Provide frontline contact support for vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and event participants.
• Assist in event administration, database management, and financial reconciliation.
• Support the marketing strategy for P2P events.
• Support with preparing impact reports and summaries for events.
