Job Description
Join Diageo Australia as a Maintenance Fitter and play a critical role in keeping our plant running safely, efficiently and reliably. You'll work closely with Operations, Engineering and Electrical colleagues as part of the site Asset Care team to support day-to-day performance and the delivery of improved Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
Requirements
- Completed recognised mechanical apprenticeship or Mechanical National Certificate (or equivalent) within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of asset performance, maintenance philosophies and continuous improvement.
- Experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance, including MIG & TIG welding
- Proven ability to work autonomously while being an effective and collaborative team member.
- Sound numerical, verbal reasoning and computer literacy skills.
- A proactive, flexible mindset with the resilience to thrive in a changing environment.
