Die Cutter Operator responsible for programming and setting up the die cutter with correct die, stripping and blanking, tooling, operating the machine, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting any issues.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- 3- 5 years experience operating a die cutter (Brausse, Bobst, Sanwa, Kluge, Heidelberg)
- Prior experience with set-up, operation, and maintenance of die cutting machinery
- Experience working with dies, plates, stripping, blanking, and tooling setups
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and production specifications
- Skilled in performing machine adjustments and fine-tuning to meet quality standards
- Basic mechanical aptitude for routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, to support production and measurement tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control standards
- Ability to perform continuous quality checks during production runs
- Understanding of production efficiency and minimizing downtime
- Strong communication skills with Production Leadership and team members
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment
- Willingness to assist co-workers to support overall production goals
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Commitment to workplace safety rules, regulations, and company policies
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ability to work overtime and/or weekends as needed to support business needs
